Both plans and models were submitted for approval to help clarify the project design. In addition, medical centers are planned for five locations within the country. Funding for the project is still pending.

QATAR KINDERGARTEN Country of Qatar Owner: Roger McMurray, Construction Manager
This feasibility study was to demonstrate the use of a monolithic concrete structure for primary schools at five locations. Two types of schools were requested especially designed for the Arab culture, teaching methods, and for the middle east climate. Adoptions were made from existing drawings to show design possibilities and for "bill of quanities" estimates. Both 6-classroom and 12-classroom designs were submitted. Local engineering firms were consulted to design grated and drainage, utilities and landscape placement. Several exterior designs were considered showing strong Moorish influence.
